Ok. I've talked to ower of tjm in Canberra well Queanbeyan who had a fight with the local po-po over this when one of his customs got booked no more then 5 mins after leaving the shop. You can not get fined for lights on your sports bar or roof connected or not. It's one of those things cops do that over time has become myth law like hiding with speed cameras. How every as stated you can not use them on road. And if you have them be prepared to fight it. Simply ask the cop where in the law book does it state about lights on roofs. For this rule to come in taxi, security, cops, fire, ambo. Would all need to remove there lights.

what breed are they ?

They are just el/cheap-o`s from SCA, will run the straght to a small fuse box to the duel batt in the tub. (all in good time). will do what i need them for. eventually will also upgrade to a light bar. (funds pending).
