3 more, then on the 4th day...the beasts are unleashed...

GO YOU Fn LEGEND LOWNDES

Yeah go the smiling ASSASSIN!! I still think he is the best driver on the track.

i have watched v8 taxi's for too long now
bring on next year with nissan and mercedes
shake it up a bit

No one forces you to watch...plenty of other girly car racing
for the rest of you

Interesting livery Lowndsey is sporting this weekend.

50 years of the race and 40 years since Peter won his first.

An alternative for all the older folk.

I like the sand flags.

I would of liked to have seen the episode of pimp my ride where that was done and X had to pick it up.... I wonder if they left the old fella with a courtesy buggy???? bahaha

Looking forward to it. I'm on the other side of the fence.
Go Frosty and Will. It's going to be good watching 17 going around in the true blue colours.

well....u bunch of unaustralian girls dicks can start ya own thread on souped up foreign taxi racing:shooter:

ive been watchin supercars for 20 years
i just think they need more competition
the current formula is a bit stale

I do think it's a good thing they are bringing Nissan and Merc into V8's. The sport needs to accommodate for everyone even Collingwood supporters.

It will change it up a bit. I think it will take awhile to get up to speed.
But then again they will get plenty of concessions to help them along.
Either way it will be interesting.

As long as it doesn't turn into the farce it was when they allowed all those other cars into the races years ago. If they want to race 4 cylinder rice burners fine race them amongst themselves but that's not what V8 Supercar Racing is about.

And if they can get rid of Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton even better.

Yeh has to stay v8. I was there when the Nissan and sierra where running and the sound was no where near as good.
When the V8's come over the top for the first time it would make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
It's a fantastic event. I would love to get up their again.
