Last week I was out playing in the mud and water.

After spending most of the day playing I noticed that I was getting down on power and the engine wouldn't rev ( it took a long time to build up revs while back on the black stuff, so much so that I couldn't pass a truck. It was a real dog.

I have had this happen once before but that was after taking it through a very long track with water sitting just above the tyres.

Once is dries out there isn't a problem.

I just want to know how to prevent it from happening and am after a few ideas.

Thanks for looking.

Fit a snorkel so you air cleaner doesn't fill up!

I've got a 4" stainless snorkel hooked up to a custom air box, but thanks for the reply.

Surely this couldn't be a faulty NPS, moisture in the joint causing the contacts to become erratic? I can't think of anything else that would cause poor performance until the system became dry.

I'll check the connection on the NPS tomorrow.

Would that make it like there is no power at all?
