Found this D40 in a car park recently.

Not one straight panel, broken glass, twisted tray and an interior to die for!

The photos really don't do it justice.

Hope it doesn't belong to anyone on here

^ Either that, or the tray is held on with trusty, reliable Occy straps. And on one corner, they forgot to remove their empty beer can before strapping it down (using the body mount as a place to rest a coldie while they worked).

D40s aren't necessarily soft. They're more expensive, and if you pay more for something, you tend to take less risks with it. Mine is unprotected underneath, unlocked, no sliders - so I tend to not try driving off cliffs like you can with ToyMotors (I saw dat on da TV). But I remember the D40s doing well at Lithgow power lines, and we followed Sparra's D22 all over Nundle tracks - there were a couple of times we used chicken tracks on the first trip but we stuck with him on the second. Even down some of those tracks that were definite one-way tracks unless you were willing to get the winch going.
