Where was my D22 built

Hi All,

I'd like to know where my d22 was built. Its a July 2008 Model 2.5l CR and I'm sure somewhere I've seen a "made in Japan" statement.

I'm guessing that the build plate has a plant identifier on it somewhere does anyone know how to decipher these?

Look for your VIN number. The first three letters will tell the story.

VSK = Spain
MNT = Thailand
J = Japan.

I happen to have the rego renewal on the Fridge .

The VIN starts with JN1xxxx etc. Can I conclude from this that its built in Japan?

as of 2009 they moved production to thailand, then back to japan for 2012
