Hi folks, my Nav D40 has 179000kms on her, runs like a charm, but wondering how long for, im a bit paranoid about expensive bills or engine failure in near future, would you knowledgable people out there think these engines well serviced could see 300,000 kms or is it time to get rid.

you could maybe look at just replacing the timing chain and tensioner, will be a few $$$ but cheaper then buying a new car.

Some say better the devil you know, and as 180 says the only thing that i would be doing is looking at the timing chain. You could just pop the cover off and inspect it.

You could buy a lemon, every manufacture makes at least one. I definitely wouldn't be trading a car I know for a new car just because it has 180K on the clock and it might require work one day.
