Hey guys,

I have a squealing/squeaking noise between 1000/2000rpm, which is most prominent coming off the clutch's bite point. Especially coming down gears while braking. Pulling away from a stoplight the same noise can be heard between that 1000/2000rpm but seems to die off after that, I can only hear it up until 3rd/4th gear. Any suggestions? pulley belts seem to have tension and don't look worn.

Obvious first thing to try is to lube the belts (dry lube, available in any automotive store).

Look around the turbocharger for black, sooty emissions (particular attention to the join between the turbo and the exhaust manifold). Check the EGR tube (gold pipe running around the front of a YD25 engine) while you're at it.

Take a look at the alternator. Does the pulley look like it's sitting in the right spot? I had an alternator let go of its pulley.
