Rock sliders, pipe or rhs? Diy bash plates?

Just after opinions on rock slider designs, pipe or rhs, if I use pipe I will probably go with 40mm nb, if I used rhs probably 40mm as well. Also looking at making my own bash plates for the underbody

My opinion is that regardless of any strength differences, pipe can look professional but RHS looks homemade. 40nb will be plenty mate, light or medium wall, whatever you fancy.

That's true, pipe is just a little harder to work with IMO. Looks like I will final buy a pipe notcher jig

50x50x3 is stronger than 40mm pipe but only just.

I prefer the rhs inner and pipe outer.
