Hi I am new to this forum. I recently purchased 2009 str 2.5 cr 160,000 kms with all its inherit problems. I cant find an owners manual anywhere. Can someone tell me what the Heater Switch is for on the RHS of steering column. Above the bonnet pull.All it seems to do is increase engine revs 500 when switched on.

It does exactly that. Heats the engine up. Useful on a cold morning it you wanna warm the engine up before leaving. Or for charging a dual battery system after it has been depleted. It just simulates you holding the accel pedal down a bit

Thanks Heaps. Probably wont need it in the north but would be good for the extra batteries. Regards Blue
