????noise???

I've been noticing a faint ticking/knocking noise when i'm slowing down. i can only hear it with the windows up and from about 40km downwards. it seems to get faintly louder when you apply the brakes and sounds like its coming from the rear. doesn't affect the braking or driving of the car its just a noise atm. but it's obvious someting isn't right.

I thought i'd throw it out to the forum before i go to my mechanic or nissan. it's got 45 k on the clock too.

Sorry, no idea what the sound could be. Unless there's an issue with the drums? I didn't think the 08 had a problem with the CVs or the rear diff like the 06.

I had a clicking noise all the way for Jindabyne back to Melbourne, turned out to be a rock inbedded in the tread. Pull it out with some pliers, all good now.
