cruise control not working

noticed cruise wasnt functioning. their seemed to be a break in the lettering of " cruise control on" on dash. no brake lights, blown brake fuse again, need to change to led tail lights and check the wirring on my 2nd trailor

The brake wiring circuit does have a bearing on CC operation. It's reasonable that if the trailer wiring is blowing fuses in the car, there might be an impact on the cruise control.

Usual culprits for CC operation are the clock spring and the brake switch not fully engaging.

Then there’s the neutral position switch and clutch pedal switch if you have a manual.
