4wd light on half brightness in 2h

Was driving today and noticed the 4wd indicator light was on half brightness in 2h, put in 4h and the light went brighter and back to 2h and went dim again but still on, checked underneath and the front drive shaft doesn't spin when the car is moving so I'm guessing its the switch playing up?

Had this plenty of times especially after being in 4wd. I had the swicth replaced under waranty once but have had it again since. The switch just seems to do that!

same thing happens to me mate, as long as it gets brighter in 4wd I don't mind

Mine has done it a few times, it is normally after getting a bit of water in the switch, it happened to me after some water crossings then came good again after a couple of warm days and the switch had dried out.

Yeah I noticed after work today I wasent on, but I have t been through water in ages
