2009 d22 yd25 turbo issues

hi guys, I've got a 2009 d22 yd25 navara and I'm having issues with my turbo. it cuts out when it gets 4500 its like it over spools. as soon as i turn the vehicle and accessories off it resets and boost again. there is also oil residue leaking slowly from intercooler witch makes me think its got a leak there for the turbo working harder and over spooling I've got a few other ideas to what could be wrong but cant be to sure. has any one had this issue before?

If you haven't got a boost gauge it's a bit hard to see if your turbo is actually shutting down or some other fuel fault, for any fuel issues I usually go for an ECU reset as Izzi described elsewhere or just google navara ECU re set, for the intercooler oil leak if you don't have a catch can it is pretty common normally here do an egr block and install a catch can runs better and cleaner oil in the sump, apparently some nissans bring up a code unless EGR is blocked electronically or think there is a bypass kit.
