The fix is using ACL lead and tin bearings from memory.

I'd say tri-metal shells...copper-lead-tin.


still odd tho...
the alum-tin jobs should be fine if the clearances/oiling/journal finish is correct
 
Yeah that sounds about right.

There was a dodgy O-ring on the oil pump to they reckon.

They replace the O-ring and the big ends.

If thats the case...theres your root cause...aeration of the pressured oiling and or lack of volume to the bearings.....NOT GOOD, more so in a high revving little diesel engine.
 
Nissan admitted to the problem to hey. Lol. Yeah !@#$%^& right.

They denied it like always.
 
i doubt its the o ring. a lot of the engines use that exact same o ring setup without problems.

nissan has never admitted the ZD30 grenade problem exits either. thats manufactures for ya.
