Hi guys just want to see what you come up with for a noise I heard the other day.. It's only faint but there when driving along hard to describe constant faint vibrating or loose rattling or something along those lines.. Did a couple of eliminating tests while driving. For example varying revs, brakes, accelerating but then I switched it into 4wd and it stopped then out of 4wd and it started again.. Now this made me think a few months ago I had to engage 4wd to get up a steep gravel hill towing my work trailer and forgot to take it out at end of the day driving quite a long way down a windey road back to my house eventually realised I had left it In 4wd.. Would this have done something in the transfer case??
