Hi,
I am new to the forum and have a 94 caravan/urvan my mechanic has put in a td27t intercooled motor but he is running scared now the wiring needs to be done ,I have found some info on your forum but on the water intercooler for instance there is a sensor coming off the top etc ,what i really need to know is what has to be hooked up and what can be ignored and do i need a control box or anything like that. Do I need to have a separate rad for the intercooler
and would it need a pump
Would appreciate any replies

fit a mechanical injection pump then there is next to no wiring to be done unless your running an auto.

theres no factory water intercooler.

have you got any pics of your setup?

interesting pics. the intercooler looks like its factory built.

not sure on the wires, i would expect a float switch or water level sensor and possibly a temp sensor.
need a separate radiator for it as well as electric pump. fortunately they are not hard to get.
pump you can have running all the time or i think its autospeed that have an article on making your own pump controller.
