I've just picked up a 2011 D22 with the YD25 engine. At some stage someone has installed a HKS Type 1 Turbo Timer. In less than 24 hours and half a dozen trips, this thing has given me a royal case of the irits!!!

So, how do I get rid of the rotten thing?

The controller has a plug and play which connects to the vehicles ignition system. Remove the cover from under the steering wheel should be 4screws.
Once you have removed the cover you’ll see a white double ended plug one end to the existing ignition system the other to the timer. Unplug the double ended white plug and reconnect the original wire together. This picture shows the white double connecter to remove.

Took a while to get back to you, just got my mechanic to remove it when he did a service the other week. All good, bloody annoying thing!
