pcv valves are pretty rare in diesels. the book gives no indication it has one.

what problem are you chasing?

Hi.
Trying to suss out white hazey putrid emissions. No oil mixed in coolant or coolant in sump.

Engine cuts out after 2 minutes idling or dies off after accelerated.

I will check on e.g.r valve actuator and d.p.f sensor in morning and possibly s.c.v regulator at pump.

Cheers Carl

Greetings Bobb.
Did you find cause of your misery?.

Try loosen the 4 nuts at EGR valve and pipe to give it a gap then start engine to see how it behaves. When running just titen the nuts to close up gap to see if engine shut down.

Before all this drop your tank after reversing on ramps then remove fuel level sender unit and look at the pickup intake and see if gauze is covered in snot. Remove if any?.

This is a 3 hr job.

Following is video I made but too large to upload. I forgot to show dirty gauze but I'm glad to clean up before Xmas road trips.

Tell me how U go?
