hi All, had the 04 D22 2.5 deisel turbo serviced by my mechanic today. He tells me the oil filter locating clip is broken which is a common problem, and will cost $340 to replace the housing. Tells me oil will not be filtered unless this is replaced. Has anyone heard of this before, or can fill me in as to any other options I may have.
