Used to change the oil in the D22 every 5k, but will be changing the D40 at 10k intervals. At least for the 1st service, already at 7.7k but feel a bit guilty I haven't changed the oil yet.
10k. The oil is still pretty good when i change it. Switched from magnatec to penrite 15/50 a few changes ago for no real reason. Every 5k seems a bit anal for a rugged work horse.
25k service intervals on my old mans mercedes vito (diesel) the oil in that thing is as black as yr mums arse. If i was him id do an oil change between services.
5-10K depends on how we drive it in the first 5K
however she got 22x,xxx odds kms already
then every 20,000Kms full service all filters change
flush fluids, check brakes change if needed, then
check all parts see if anything are worn and needs
to be replaced.
for my next full service it will be on 236,xxxkms full service
might get the turbo rebuild or swap it for a new one depends
on price.
