ive got an intermitted noise coming out of the front passenger side area only happens for a slit second when taking off hard or taking off up hills so guessing under more load but not all the time. sounds like the tyre rubbing but had a really good look around and cant find anything rubbing and have had the mechanic look around but was able to get it to make the noise and could find anything either. Does it in 2wd and 4wd as well. has anyone else had this noise or simlar?? or any ideas on what it could be ???
cheers Dunk

Yeah, i'd say it's something hitting when the engine torques over (leans on its side due to the torque pushing thrpugh the driveline) Also check exhaust mounts. Just noticed you have diesel/gas. May make the engine lean further over than std, due to more torque.

It will be your exhaust pipe hitting the body. 1st section of pipe after your cat.
