Hi All,
I live in Australia and I am looking to buy a Navara D22 STR 3l diesel with approx 60000km on the clock. I have heard many mixed reports about the Navaras and their engines and faults so am not really sure what to believe. I reckon that they are a top lookoing truck that should perform really well. My friend has never had any issues with his car. I am looking at using it for city use and a little bit of beach work as I am a keen fisherman.
I guess I want to hear from Navara owners about their experiences with this model of Navara.
I have heard that the engines cease if they are pushed too hard as they stress easily. Is this the case? What are the engines like? What are their faults?
What are they like on fuel consumption?
A ballpark figure on installing a lockable fibreglass canopy on the tray would be great if anyone has done it.
Looking forward to hearing some reports , good or bad.
Cheers
