Is this how others Centre Consoles Look?

Guys....

Ever since I've had my D22, I've questioned whether my centre console surround that sits around the Gear Levers is standard or has mine been butchered by the previous owner ?? It has Cable Ties holding the Vinyl to the frame.... Surely this has to be non standard......

Here's some pics of what I mean:

Does anybody have a Centre console that they willing to part with (ie: don't want)?

Looks like a home fix job. The leather surround away breaks away from the plastic and sags. I had to hot glue mine to fix it up. That job seems to work but looks a tad dodge.

Mines been fixed in a similar way (black string). Been meaning to take it to an upholsterer for years - bit slack tho.

Looks pretty factory to me!!

Mine sags at the front left in front of the 4wd stick. Doesn't worry me too much.

What's the chances of finding a good 2nd one then ???

Try to slip it back into its groove and keep it there with a bit of glue.
