Hi all, I just replaced the intercooler on our 2012 six v6. It’s all back together and I notice that I did not tie up a wire loom. It is between the back of the intercooler and the cooler(air con?) will it get too hot or do I need to get it out.(shit of a job) thanks experts

It's going to get warm there, that's for sure. The air entering the intercooler can be over 200C although the intercooler won't radiate that much heat at once (it's a gradual reduction of heat energy as the air passes through). If the wires are actually being squashed between the two they could suffer - the heat may be enough to make the insulators soften and allow the inner conductors to come into contact with each other.

Is there a way you can hook a stiff wire around it and haul it out of the way?
