My sled is an old 2006 D22 single cab with a 3litre ZD30 engine and a very useful ‘lowline’ extra height canopy with gullwing doors. It’s been super reliable. Been in the family since new, I’ve been driving it for the last 6/7 years. It’s been all over the country and I used it as a trade ute for a few years, now it does short commutes three days a week and lots of long distance touring with plans for more. It’s got some sentimental value (was my old mans ute) has 386000 plus kms on it, no engine mods (just a recent 50mm lift.) Always been serviced every 10 000 and I do it every 5000 now. I think I’m hearing some ‘signs’ from the engine so it’s very light duties till I get a few clues on how to keep it going strong.
