Engine noise in cab d40

Hi guys just wondering if any one can help.. I don't know if anyone's come across something similar but I just noticed that inside my cab while windows closed I can still hear my engine running & it's louder then usual the noise seems to be coming from under the dash drivers side like there's a hole somewhere. Any feedback would be great thanks

Nah mate it's auto

Ok that's weird. I had a manual and where the clutch mount Is there was a crack in the fire wall and I had a fair bit of engine noise in the cab.

All good found the problem it was the rubber around the steering column...some how it had popped off & the engine noise was coming in from that
