When I unlock the ute and open any door other than the drivers one the lights inside the cabin go on - all good. But when I open the drivers door they dont go on. This seems a bit backwards to me?

Any way it can be changed?

Are you sure the drivers door switch is working?

I don't use interior lights but I'm sure it happens with my drivers door.

You know I was more worried about it being an electrical gremlin that I didn't actually start with the simple things. I'll switch one out from the other doors and see if it sorts it.

The easy way to tell: if the driver's door is open, there should be an indicator in the dash that shows an open door (look in the middle, it's red and looks oddly enough like a car with a door open). If that's working then something's told the BCM to not turn on the lights when the driver's door is opened - first I've heard of that. I'm thinking faulty switch.

I switched the door switches over from drivers to rear passenger door - problem solved. Dicky switch.
