2.5 engine oil change

How many kms does the oil need to be changed at.
Service history says it has been done every 12,000-15,000 kms
Is this ok or should it be done every 5,000 kms.

Most people I know mate, including my self do it at 5k intervals. I feel that 10k between oil changes stretches it a bit, especially if the engine has been working a bit during that time. Fresh drop every 5k, can't go wrong.

service intervals are 10,000klm.....severe service 5000klm.
if you are using Full syn oil, 10000 klm is fine as is some name branded semi-syns...

I've now changed over to a secret formula with Victoria's Secret.

Full syn is the best regardless...Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 or Castrol, mobil and Penrite or Nulon..

or try out Penrite's 5W-40 diesel..

Apparently the oil he gets from reading Victoria's Secret makes his skin much smoother anyway so Oil of Ulan might not be all it's cracked up to be these days.
