Where is my microphone?

Hi Guys,

Sorry to bring up an abused topic however I couldn't find the answer I was looking for. I have an 08 STX, with the factory bluetooth option. I can't for the life of me find the microphone.

I've pulled off the light console and it's nowhere to be seen. Is there any other common areas I should check? I'm hoping to find it without having to trace it from the button itself.

On the roof lining do you have what looks to be a separate air vent looking thing?

Impatient me, ripped whole dash apart and traced the cable

Found a rogue cabling leading into driver side pillar, followed it to nothing, I believe this is where the microphone would of been. Think previous owner ripped it off for whatever reason. Maybe to upgrade it?
