tonneau cover

My tonneau cover plastic strip which holds cover in place is starting to break off. Has this happen to anyone else and if so, how did you stop it from breaking or any ideas of repairing it.

I think that's a common trait.. Mine has done it too..

Cost of repair would be considerable I imagine. So either hunt down a reasonable priced 2nd hand one (~$100 or so), or eBay and cough up for a new one..
