Reverse light issue?!?!

Hi all,

I now find myself with a reverse light that stays on with ignition... tail light is out on the same corner... reverse light comes on when braking also when driving.. ahh!!! Can't seem to find where the issue lies??

Very often find the culprit in the trailer wiring. Check it to see if anything's shorting in there.

Two other possibilities (both happened to me): a dirty bulb and socket in the left tail light (can't recall which one, Nissan did that one under warranty) and either dirty or loose connector behind the left tail light. There are two grey plugs there, undo both, plug them back together and test.

check the earths. quite common for lights to earth back through another circuit when the earth is corroded.
