Very quick for now and i will update with more detail later. I have run power to my roof using 6mm² cable running down under the seal and secured the cables with an Anderson plug which is screed to my roof rack.

I have then wired the work lights to an RF receiver so i can control them through a remote that looks like a central locking remote. Will upload video soon

Yeah that is the plan. Have an awning on the other side with an LED strip stuck to the base. Just need to wire it to the receiver. Also have a light bar to wire up there at some stage as well.

The receiver has 4 20amp relays, but they will never see that much. The power cable to the roof also has a 20amp resettable breaker near the batter to handle any surges.
 
This does look a little messy, which it is a bit, but the wires are longer so there is a bit of a drip loop that will hopefully direct the water down and away.
