Nov 2011 Stx 3" Exhaust

I have a November 2011 Stx dual cab, i believe i have the dpf, just wondering if putting a 3" exhaust will make enough of a difference or should i look further into removing the dpf and blanking the egr?
it is a auto, seems like for this model this is a lack of compatible parts.

I don't know what parts are lacking but the STX is usually fairly well supplied, if anything it was the RX and ST models which were harder to get mods for.

As for the DPF, there will be a DPF light on the dash when the ignition is on that will confirm whether or not you have a DPF. As for it's removal, that's entirely a subjective thing, some say it's not an issue, some say it is an issue, at the end of the day it will all come down to who's story you believe the most. There is a number of threads here about deleting the DPF it might be worth reading one or two of them.
