They said it wouldn't happen.
Nissan intro it to me today.

Any one know anything about it?
I mean is the 3lt the same old one? Same probs?

No detail. Just an invite to test drive $57,990 drive away with extras.

It's just a Y61 Patrol. Old shape, common rail version of the 3 litre engine (been around a few years now).

Ahh, yeah I just looked at the add again.
Sorry it is the y61 st plus. Oops, that'll teach me to read the fine print.
Plus is leather accented power seats, sat nav n reverse can, floor mats.

Rumour is there is a new 6 cylinder powered GU Patrol coming.

Get on to Patrol4x4 and search GU 2014 update for the sketchy details.

Exaclty where to research about Y62 - Patrol4x4 seems to have more members with Y62 than NissanPatrol forum.

But you are right again with the 6 cylinder Diesel - they have been discussing this in Patrol4x4 and seems to be out 2015??? not 100% sure might re-read this again

I was watching a you tube clip today and a add come up. apparently there ment to be bring out a V8 petrol patrol.

its already out mate, ugly as all hell imo!

You're not wrong, I passed one on the freeway coming back from Forster on Monday and the missus snorted "is that a Patrol" the look on her face was priceless, I could only shake my head, epic fail Nissan.

I would take a test drive. I've gotta soft spot for patrols. Had them all through my childhood and took is around the country. The first one I buy though happens to be a grenading 3 litre. Lame.

Same deal really with our navs. Put a free flow exhaust, lift and chip.
