A full revamp? Aren't you better off just finding another navara and transferring everything over? Neatening and culling as you go?

Possibly. depends if i keep it a 4 seater but with the doors and back notched out to suit the tyres being closer. or i just go with 2 seats and get a single cab. Either way id keep the current chassis, and just tidy it all up once the cab is off. Plenty of ideas/time to think about it.

Only way is to either bob the front and bring it all in tighter on the motor, would mean no aircon n prob rear mount radiator. Or push the front diff forward, but i cant do that till i can move the rear diff the same amount so the wheelbase doesnt increase.

How did you go with the Patrol utes injection pump ?

Yeah theres just the like button, not sure what they are going to do once they reach 60 competitors as its pretty close to it now.


Yeah patrol injection pump is done, 4 grand later its got a full reco full system, tanks were full of rust!. also made ramps for the trailer as it was a pain driving it on with a busted cv.

shell be right, 4.2 always gets there in the end. Cant say the same bout the Nav!!, that rev/fuel surging issue is back after dissappearing for a few trips, caused all sorts of grief out on the tracks the other night.

Been talkin to a TT competitor out there, he says theres a few tracks. Hopefully in 6months-a year ill have all the room i want to build my own.
