Inner guard and air intake

The nav took on a tiny bit of water again on the weekend. Mostly due to my lack of knowledge. I have 265s on her and took the inner guard off not knowing that it protects the air intake a bit. Just thought Ide let people no because I haven't read about it on here. The snorkel should be in Wednesday thanks to Gary! Great bloke to deal with.

eeek im sure she survived I personally wouldn't take my ute through water unless i had a snorkel.

water? again? far out! I refused to take mine anywhere near water until it had a snorkel! if there's anyone here on the forum who doesnt have one read the sob stories about ppl who didnt have one and went thru water. sometimes the engine dies straight away and others get complications 50k later..... just dont do it!

Yeah I bought one off Gary. Fitting it this weekend hopefully I'm young and dumb. And sort of have the worry about it later attitude.

take a good 5-6hrs to fit. don't rush it either and u'll get a nice finish on the snorkel

I don't do a river or creek crossing unless I have to and I have a snorkell

Don't rush it and make sure you seal it properly
