I'm trying to find out if I can extend my waist gate boost pipe into my cab so it will be maybe 1.5m longer without affecting my boost at all or causing lag

won't cause lag, may cause boost spikeing. the length makes the reaction time of the waste gate a bit slower which helps is come on boost quicker but if boost comes on really quick wastegate may be a bit slow in opening and you overboost.
