Ignition wire and illumination wire colours?

Hi all, can anyone tell me what wire colours to use. I'm installed a couple gauges and need to know the colour wire for ignition power and also illumination lights (dash lights etc)?

I can't remember the colours but if you remove the steering column covers you can use a multi meter or a test light to find them easy enough.

Pretty sure the ignition wire is white with a red trace. Can't remember what colour the dash light wire is though...

Worked it out last night, was a bit easier going off the steering column rather than the cluster loom. Thanks guys

So was it the white wire for ignition?

your far better off testing the wires for the radio. if things go wrong, shorts out, it blows the radio fuse not fry your main ignition line and kill the ute.
