Hi, just replaced my light force spotties with a pair of Hella Rallye 4000s, they seem to work fine until I go to adjust them. I have not changed any wiring & there was no problem previously. As soon as I loosen adjusting screws & move the light, they blow the 20a fuse. I have read some where that this could be caused by the way the positive wire is connected to the rear of the bulb holder/reflector making the entire casing live. Has anyone else come across this? How did you solve it?

I have sorted the problem. I wired them to normal colour coding i.e. brown=active, blue=neutral/earth. On these lights the blue wire goes directly to the bulb & the brown to the bulb holder. According to my Auto lecky brother (probably should have spoken to him first) it should be the other way around. Cheers for the response. Hope this helps others having the same problem.
