Fuel light help!!!

HEY GUYS - Got a query about the fuel light on ST-X Diesel D40...When it comes on/starts beeping how many km's roughly does it have until empty??? im too used to the commodores "dist to empty" screen on the dash! any help with this would be awesome

I could be wrong but you should have a dist to empty on your.

on the d22 the light comes on with roughly 10 litres left in tank
the d40 should be the same
it pays to not run your tank low as the risk of picking up sludge from bottom of tank increases

The ST-X king cab does not have a trip computer , if its a king like mine , it comes on when there's 15 liters left , just check it a few times as do a full fill , or better still by yourself a scan gauge 2 , which will tell you everything

The 2009 STX only has a light. People have reported varying amounts of fuel remaining when the light comes on, some as low as 10L left, some as much as 20L. Mine is generally around the average of 15L like most others.

The way to tell for sure is to fill the tank until the first click of the bowser and drive around until the light comes on, then at the SAME bowser as soon as possible after the light comes on, fill it until the first click. If you put 65L in, you still had 15L in the tank.
