Can anyone tell me please if you can put a later model 3l engine in my 2001 3l nissan navara d22 weather it's plug and play or involves a lot more cheers aj

i suspect that would be a big job due to wiring the ecu. might be able to change the wiring harnesses over. it would pay to have a donor vehicle.
would need engine, bellhousing, ecu wiring, dash cluster.

whats more common conversion is the 3.2 turbo out of a terrano with a mechanical pump conversion. no ecu, no wiring.
