D40 Engine swap question

Gday forum,
Background on my 2006 D40 Navara. Had an engine rebuild, and a couple years later I got a DPF issue. Local mechanic fixed everything and said Nissan dealer has to force a code reset. Drove it into western plains auto and 6 weeks later picked it up with a car trailer and drove it home. Long story short my engine is in great condition.

How much can I expect for an engine swap, as I have a good engine and will
Put it into a newer Navara with a blown engine.

And what else is involved. The other Navara is all the same specs. Just better condition.

It depends on the labour cost per hour of course, it takes a few hours to get the engine out and a few more to put it back. Bonnet comes out, radiator, exhaust disconnected etc etc.

I would imagine a bill of somewhere south of $2K would be ideal (with no problems at all).
