D40 reverse camera wiring

Hello all. I purchased a reverse camera off ebay to install on the nav for the missus. After some help with wiring. The RCA cable obviously runs to the head deck but where would I source power for the camera?

My AlpineIVE-W530ABTi unit also has a wire that will also automatically change the screen to the camera when reverse is selected. Any idea how to wire this to the camera?

I would power the camera from one of the reverse lights in the tail light.

Did this a couple of weekends ago.
Power from one of the reverse lights.

My RCA cable also had an extra red wire which I connected to the switched power side of the tail lamp at one end, and to the switched input on the head unit to automatically bring up the camera view when reversing

I used a feed from a tail light to power my reverse lights.The relay is under the bonnet so the wiring already runs the full length of the truck
The rest was easy . I just picked off a feed to do the camera and another to go to the head deck .
4 years on and its still working ,camera is a little worse for wear from too much sunlight but still works

i ran one for a VMS GPS today here are the pics. i have it fitted to where the lock would go on the tail gate, and the camera wire comes up through the center console. power feed is from the reverse tail light.
