D22 tyre change advice

Hey guys I know this is a stupid question and I've looked through the forums and slowly getting my head around it but I thought I would look for advice from you boys rather then a tyre shop because they'll lead me astray from what I've heard and you guys actually know what's going on haha.

Anyways I just grabbed a pair of 16x7 rims for my 2005 d22 and was wondering if my current tyres would fit on them? They measure 245/70 R16

Yes the tyres will fit on the wheels, 6" is possibly a tad skinny for that width tyre, but will be ok. If in doubt check the website of the tyre manufacturer.

They will fit but 6.5 would be more suitable
