could some tell me if a bull bar of a 2009 d22 will fit a 1997 d22

That would be a Thai built as apposed to a japa, If its like the D40 they have differences between the chassis, BUT i dont think or have never herd of those sort of differences with any of the D22's
Is it worth talking to ARB to check if the Mounts for the two are listed as the same??

Maybe. The biggest worry would be the different front ends.
