please help me...

Ive just bought a 2011 D40 which has had a few mods done to it.
When I bought it the speedo wasn't working and after investigation and replacement of the instrument cluster it appears that the led for the airbag system has been removed.

Now that ive fitted a new instrument cluster the airbag lihght comes on permanently.
it does NOT flash, it just stays illuminated.

it appears that the prev owner has been tinkering with the wiring loom and has replaced some plugs etc.

I desperately need the wiring diagram to give to my mechanic so he knows where the problem is.
His diagnostic machine isn't even picking up the airbag system from the ecu which leads us to believe its been wired incorrectly.

All I need is the elec wiring diag for the car so I can get it fixed.

Does anyone have one I can use?

Thanks
Andy

If none of the airbags or seat belt pretensioners have been deployed check the fuse.
The fuse is a 10 amp (no 13) in the cabin fuse box in the passengers side footwell.

The main sensor for the ABS is located beneath the hand brake.

If you drive (over 40k) without the seat belt on does the car beep? If not it may be that they have unplugged the sensor under the seat..

Otherwise have you tried the airbag reset process?
