Hey Guys,
Before anyone asks, I have also pm'd Zordo, just wanted to hear other peoples experiences as I know a lot of you order from the US as their prices are almost half what Australian ones are even with shipping (wtf).
I am just trying to work out which Bilstein shocks I actually need for my 2004 D22 4WD (ZD30) to be lifted 2 inches. Most places here in Aus sell the B6 Offroad, is this the shock I actually need? I am looking at 2 inches of lift and I have read websites which suggest the 5100 series bilstein is best for lifted trucks. I have also seen B8 offroad shocks which seem to be only area specific (found some on the netherlands bilstein website). Also the B6 offorad shock used to be called the 4600 series, does the 5100 series have some new name? I dont find many matches for the 5100 series to fit the D22 navara. All the different types are confusing the hell out of me.
As mentioned previously it seems like you can buy Bilstein shocks from the US for under half the price here, I have seen Aus prices for over $200 a shock whereas US prices appear to be well under $100 per shock. I like to buy Australian but the price difference seems immense for the exact same product.
Cheers,
Alex
