Water leak and A Pillar shorkle re-fit..

[Been a while]

I have been chasing this stinking water leak for ages, had the vinyl flooring out for months whilst I try working it out..

Had the new screen fitted! Silicone on all the "old" original A Pillar fixings and still no joy! Cleaned the skuttle and guards water drains! Still no joy!

Anyway, today, since I'm close to my tools I thought I'd finally mount the Snorkel with some Nutserts.. To me it looks like the original seal that I had silicone over had perished..
I may have found it! You wouldn't think it would let that much water in but maybe just maybe I've fixed it!

Ugly huh!

I used a die grinder bit to enlarge the holes a touch!
Plenty of poo, nutcerts too!
Job done!

You can use this on any open metal areas , works well..
