Going to post some shots of my state, Arizona.
Living in Arizona is awesome, literally struck with awe at the diverse landscapes and weather differences.
Hight temps, snowy days and everything in between.
Not far from Phoenix is a mountain known as Fourpeaks. Its a great area to practice shooting, ride trails, hike and whatever else you can find to do out there.
Unfortunately we have to do clean ups about once a year to pull 20 or more tons of garbage left by morons who tend not to be off road types but lazy a-holes who pull off the main highway, drive in a little ways and shoot the garbage they drag into the desert to leave behind. Its the off road clubs and the NRA that get together to do the clean ups.
Less then a full day's drive. Start at noon and we are there just before sun down.
Not easy to make that good a time due to all there is to stop and gawk at along the way.
An are of the Fourpeaks Wilderness known as Tombstone Ridge. A large boulder scape that takes its name from days when the boulders were harvested for tombstone manufacturing.
Its a nesting ground for the Sonoran Desert Tortoise.
Low light exposure, the freeway cuts through the ridge which explains the streak of light.
Head north from Phoenix, through Cave Creek along Cave Creek Road, make all the correct turns and you could wind up at some interesting places. The sheep bridge is one of them.
