As the title suggests im sure ill be looking for a new clutch soon i am almost at 100000 and i do tow a bit and the clutch is starting to feel a little....ordinary. it still performs well and i dont notice any slipping but its time to start thinking about it.did a spot of googling and youtube vids to check the operation of dmf..understand now why when i first drove my nav why the clutch felt like a big rubber band....
Quick search on ebay shows the stock replacement...excedy smf and dmf versions..the 4 terrain clutch kit..excedy HD clutches for smf and dmf and a a few others..i would be happy with extra peddel weight and a snappier and more positive take off (im thinking like a old V8) but im not keen on the idea of drivetrain chatter.ive read a lot of the posts on d40 clutches now but wondering being 2014 where are we at with the ultimate clutch?
